The new Wix Editor is here! On May 20, 2024, sites using the older version of the Wix Editor and sites created with ADI automatically updated to the latest version of the Editor. This update doesn’t affect live sites, Wix Studio, or Editor X sites.
We love Wix for its ability to house beautiful, creative websites and its easy-to-use interface. This update opens new opportunities for us as designers to add new and exciting elements to our websites. The updated editor will make management of the site a breeze.
Check out all of these amazing features, like:
Sections— Full-width blocks that you use to divide a page and organize its content.
The Quick Edit tool— Allows you to make changes to your section content and structure on the go.
The Site Design panel— An updated version of the Theme Manager, this tool gives you additional options for the color and text themes, page backgrounds, and page transitions of your site.
Gradient backgrounds— The color picker now includes gradients as an option for some element backgrounds.
The Add Elements panel— Wix recently updated this element to include new options for hover boxes, strips, and slideshows.
The Layers panel— Makes it easier to manage elements on your page.
This update won’t remove any of the features and options you know and love, simply adding more to enhance your experience. The goal of this change is to make it easier than ever to create and structure your website.
