# We're Officially WBENC-Certified!

We received our official certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) in April 2024. WBENC certification is the gold-standard for women-owned businesses in the United States, and we are excited to join this fantastic community. 

From its inception, LONDONmiddlebury has been guided by the visionary leadership and core values instilled by our founding female entrepreneur, Ashley Sandy. Her unwavering determination, resilience, and commitment to excellence are the driving forces behind our company's success. As a woman navigating the challenges of building a business from the ground up, she has paved the way for our growing team to thrive.

Her experiences have shaped our company's culture, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and empowerment. We believe that embracing diverse perspectives and fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued is essential for innovation and growth. This commitment to creating opportunities for underrepresented groups, particularly women, has been woven into the fabric of our organization.

We are honored to represent our female founder and owner with this certification and are proud to bring our diverse perspectives to our current and future clients. By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, small businesses, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.

With this WBENC certification, companies searching to support women-owned businesses will easily be able to discover LONDONmiddlebury and work with us. We’re so proud to have a strong woman founder to lead our business, and can’t wait to open doors to new opportunities with this certification.
